Essay Examples Using Contrast and Comparison
Essay Examples Using Contrast and ComparisonIt is never easy to write a good essay, and it will be even more difficult if you try to stick to the rules of contrast and comparison. In this article we will look at some essay examples using these terms. By looking at them we can hopefully start to understand how to use these two important terms and make them a key part of your essay writing. In contrast means that two or more things are not the same, while comparison means that they are similar. Compare two or more, three, five, ten, or twenty-five, but try not to go too far. This will make the text seem unfocused. The aim is to make the paper interesting, and contrast and comparison will do this. For example, 'I am a person with different interests, views and beliefs, and I feel free to express these differences through different types of media, such as: books, film, television, theatre, music, art, or any number of other media. Some of my favourite TV shows include Family Ties, Saturday Night Live, and Supermarket dogs.' This is a good example of contrast and comparison. We have found that this example is quite difficult to summarize in a short essay, and so it should be used when there is a lot to say.Another example is a more interesting essay: 'My wife and I have several children, and each time we find that there is no overlap in our interests. So we give each child his or her own room and if there is something we enjoy doing together then we will do it. So we see a difference between children who attend the same school and live in the same neighborhood, and children who live in different neighborhoods.'Contrast and comparison are a very powerful tool, and so in a few words the reader can see the differences between the two passages. But the reader cannot see the similarities, and the advantage is that it makes the reader think and see the key points. In this case, contrast and comparison let the reader make the choice as to which way he/she thinks the essay wi ll turn out. This helps to make your essay samples interesting and usable. When you have included contrast and comparison, your reader will see that there are ways in which your essay can be different to that of others, but also see similarities. The best way to use these techniques is to allow the words to float around and be as natural as possible, making your text very easy to read and comprehension-testing.Contrast and comparison are not a new thing. The US Government uses these terms in all their official publications. There is no need to state that they have tried to use them in any other context, or that they would like to use them in other contexts. In order to make your essay samples more interesting and usable, it is important to make your use of these terms as natural as possible. Include them in your essay samples, use them in writing about specific topics, and see what they do for you. You will find that they will help you turn out a unique, useful and interesting essay.
